Everyone can take part
Walking is the most accessible form of exercise. No gym, no training plan: every step counts, at the office, at home or on the go.
Turn your wellbeing week into a step challenge: a race between colleagues, teams and locations in your own Lawa game. We set up the race, your employees just walk.

Workshops and sports sessions mostly attract people who are already active. A step challenge is easy to join, works at every location and turns moving into something you do together.

Walking is the most accessible form of exercise. No gym, no training plan: every step counts, at the office, at home or on the go.

A race between departments or offices brings together colleagues who rarely see each other. Real-time leaderboards keep it exciting.

We set up the race in your branding, with your teams and locations. Your People team steers, employees just walk.
From the first conversation to the last step of the week: here is what to expect.
In a 30-minute demo we talk through your wellbeing week: who takes part, which teams and locations, and what you want to achieve.
We configure your Lawa environment with your branding, teams and locations, and set up a race that fits your week exactly.
Employees install the Lawa app on iPhone or Android. Steps sync automatically from Apple Health, Samsung Health, Health Connect and Garmin, among others.
You see participation per team and location in the dashboard. If it works for you, we set up the next race and the momentum keeps going.
A week gives you a great peak, but participation often drops off afterwards. With Lawa it doesn't have to: after your first race we set up the next one, with races and tournaments all year round, solo and with your team. Your wellbeing week becomes the start of an ongoing employee wellbeing programme.
See in 30 minutes how Lawa works and how you can start with a pilot race during your wellbeing week. Got a question first? Email or call us, we reply the same working day.
About a step challenge during your wellbeing week.
Yes. You can start with a single pilot race during your wellbeing week. If it works for you, we set up the next races and tournaments, so the movement doesn't stop when the week ends.
Yes. Whether you join a national wellbeing week or plan your own, a walking challenge is an easy part of the programme that everyone can join, alongside workshops or other activities.
Very little. Lawa Hub is not a do-it-yourself app: we set up your environment, with your branding, teams and locations, and prepare the race together with you. Your People team invites employees and follows participation in the dashboard.
Lawa collects one thing: steps. No routes, no heart rate, no location. As an admin you see each employee's username, team, work location, participation and results in company races. Taking part is always voluntary.
Expect 30% to 40% of employees. Because walking is achievable for almost everyone and the race works like a game, participation is on average higher than for regular wellbeing activities.
